Emergency Shelter

Overnight Shelter

It can be difficult to seek help when facing unforeseen circumstances or dealing with abusive relationships.  But sometimes life forces us to make a choice.  Tabernacle of Faith Community Outreach Center offers a safe, comfortable shelter for single women and mothers with children in need of a temporary place to stay for up to fourteen nights.  Our guests have access to clothing, food, a warm shower, and personal care items if needed.  Emergency Shelter guests are offered the option of entering our Transitional Housing program to receive additional services pending eligibility requirements and an interview with a case manager.

Program Requirements

-Be at least 18 years of age
-Submit to a criminal background check
-Be drug free and/or have been in a treatment program for the past six months

Emergency Shelter is provided on a first come basis.  For the safety of our guests all applicants must submit to a background check.

If you know of someone in need, or if you are in need of shelter please call (252) 331-1397.
